Overview

Celebrate Brooklyn! is one of New York City’s most beloved free outdoor concert series, presented annually by BRIC Arts Media at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park. Engaged directly by BRIC, Anchor Point Global served as Project Manager and Season Producer across the full 45th anniversary season — from pre-production planning through live show execution — while also leading the inaugural “In the Tent” series co-presented with Brooklyn Magazine.

Season Planning & Operations

Led all pre-season planning including permit finalization with the NYC Parks Department, the RFP process for securing a production company, and sourcing key production elements such as IMAG screens and double-decker viewing areas. Reconciled production and operations schedules and managed all load-in and load-out logistics for the venue.

Live Show Production

Served as Lead Producer for five season benefit shows, advancing production and operations with external promoters including Blue Note, Live Nation, and Bowery Presents at the 8,000-capacity Lena Horne Bandshell. Created day-of-show schedules and acted as primary liaison across artist services, operations, marketing, and ticketing. Managed ticket and merchandise settlement with BRIC’s finance team and external promoters.

"In The Tent" Series

Conceived and produced the inaugural “In the Tent” series, a new co-presented experience with Brooklyn Magazine. Managed all aspects across three events, coordinating guest services, operations, and production staff.

Experiential & Branding

Sourced and managed an experiential designer for the Member Tent redesign. Oversaw the full Friends Tent design process — from RFP and designer selection through inventory management, billing, payment, installation, and seasonal maintenance. Collaborated with marketing and design teams on all on-site signage and site maps.

Merchandise

Managed the Celebrate Brooklyn! merchandise program end-to-end: vendor relationship, design creation, ordering, sales tracking, and financial reconciliation.

Internal Operations & Team Leadership

Facilitated collaboration between the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn and Media teams, managing scheduling, correspondence, and weekly planning. Created staffing plans, run-of-show documents, project checklists, and job descriptions. Managed production invoice receipt, approval, and payment. Supported the leadership transition of the outgoing Executive/Artistic Director, including document collection, information centralization, and weekly meetings with the COO and President.
